Since 2010 and we have partnered with Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) on various projects in our community. FAM is a hunger and homeless prevention agency that provides a hand up in times of need.

We have been fortunate to be able to be part of their annual Thanksgiving meal, where over 400 low income and homeless people in our community can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Backpacks- Each year it gets more expensive to go to school and we are talking public school. Due to budget cuts schools have to ask the parents to bring in supplies such as crayons, scissors, glue etc.. For many families this in an expense that they cannot afford. Each fall we hold a drive where we collect school supplies and backpacks that we donate to FAM to give them to the families in need.

Food Bank- FAM operates the only food bank in South Orange County, they serve over 1,200 families a month. We collect canned food and donations that go directly to the program.

We are part of the emergency response, if there is a need that FAM needs they will contact us and see if we can help.

We have a commitment to help others in our community and abroad.

Building school libraries

We provide quality books to public school and community libraries where the majority of students live at or below the poverty line. Since 1999, with the help of volunteers, we’ve refurbished over 300 libraries and donated more than 1.7 million books. We also collaborate with partners to host fun, literacy experiences for families in communities throughout Los Angeles.
